Apple talk in 2.3

I just installed Yellowdog 2.3 on an 8500/180  Everything is working 
fine, except the appletalk server.  I've looked in var/log/messages
and it says :  uam: uam not found (status=-1)

Also, when I try to connect to the server with osx (10.2.2) it shows up 
in the list of servers, but when I click on it to connect I get the 
error -5002

Not sure what needs to be done here, but any help would be awesome!
