ATI Radeon 8500 in YDL 2.3

Has anybody gotten the the ATI Radeon 8500 to work in YDL 2.3.

Ydl is running on a grey G4-400MHz, with 512Mb ram and the 100MHz
systembus
1 Mb L2 cache-memory no L3 cache, according to the "System profiler"

Ydl runs on /dev/had a IBM Deskstar 60Gb - 7200 ide-disk.

My machine is trippelboot.
Mac Os X Mac OS 9 runs on /dev/hdb a IBM Deskstar 60Gb - 7200 ide-disk.

The Radeon 7500/9000 Howto, on the Yellowdog-site DOES NOT, work.

I can get 8 crappy colors, no acceleration.
