Check out the site www.scyld.com. As I remember they have a lot about RTL8139.

But, in my experience I never got the card to work until I compiled my own kernel with drivers built in, like kernel 2.4.16 and up. The Realtek is a cheap chip, althuogh I can recommend a Repotec card (with Realtek chip) as the driver from Realtek's site worked directly under MacOS9.
