ydl 2.3 on PM 7200

I currently have ydl 2.0 installed on a powermac 7200.  I haven't done
much with it because the 500 meg hard drive is a liitle restrictive.  I
recently purchased and installed a 4 gig drive off of ebay, and now I'd
like to reinstall the OS onto this larger drive.

I would really like the 2.4 kernel with a minimum of work.  will ydl2.3
install onto the 7200 w/ no patches, or will I need to do patching, etc?
If it will install cleanly (as 2.0 did), I will purchase a copy of 2.3.
Otherwise I guess I'll stick with 2.0.
