Has anyone tried installing on an Xserve?

I'm pretty sure that the IDE chipset used for each of the front HD 
bays is something fairly common / standard like Promise Tech. 
(Perhaps it's just a newer version that isn't supported in the Linux 
IDE drivers yet.)
