Should work according to the working devices list of
linux-usb, but maybe there is a quirk with the ppc
implementation.

Initially, hotplugging works fine followed by mounting
as an msdos disk. The problem appears when I want to
take it off: after carefully unmounting it and then
switching it off, there are a couple of processes left
with the "D" status (uninterruptible sleep, usually
IO).

Not a good idea to leave the window manager (at least
fvwm2) at this point because there is an endless loop
of some IRQ messages behind and once you're there, the
hard shutdown is the only way. Impossible to get a
tty.

I'm attaching the three "D" processes from ps for the
record.

Any pointers as to how to get this work would be
appreciated.

Aurel
