Look at it this way... the iPod is accessible through a standard Firewire Port so more than likely whatever iTunes is doing is probably pretty standard for Firewire ports. Likely its an HFS+ file system on the iPod and could be accessed with appropriate software (although I don't know if you could just mount it). -- John
