There must be another problem.
I installed YDL 2.2 onto a 6 GB partition on an iMac, installing
"everything", and had no problems at all.

My partition settings were: 4 GB for MacOS, 100 MB boot, 384 MB swap and the
rest (about 6 GB) for Linux.
