YDL 2.2 and PPC 7500

I tried installing different packages, basic install, home/office and
development system, but had the same problem. I'll try adjusting the size
of my partitions , boot and swap.
Could it be the older cdrom in a 7500 has problems reading a cd-r? I saw
references to that on some newsgroups, but never had that problem in MacOS
9.

Thanks for the input
