Can I upgrade with RPMs?

This is pretty hopeless.  I tried this and eventually gave up and
reinstalled 2.1 (the 2.2 installer doesn't work on my Quicksilver
867).

If you have the patience you can update each package manually, adding
new ones as needed.  Hardly seems worth it though.  Better to just to
update specific packages that you really need to have the latest
version of.  For me, the new XFree was sufficient.

You _should_ run yup to get all the 2.1 updates though.  That much is
worth doing, and it seems to work properly.
