Partition optimization

Hello all. I'm hoping to get some advice from you. I just picked up a used
oldworld 9500/132 on which I am planning to install YDL 2.2. The machine
will be used as a Web and e-mail server, and I do not plan to install any
GUI. Command-line and various servers only. The major packages that I plan
to install are Apache w/PHP and MySQL, sendmail, majordomo, FTP, DNS. I've
installed the server installation of YDL before and have no problem there.
This is just background. Here's my question:
The 9500 I have has two SCSI drives in it - a 4 Gb and a 1 Gb.
I'm wondering what is the best way to partition and use the drives?
Obviously, being a server, I estimate the two biggest directories to be
/home (for the Web/user files) and /var (for spool/mail as well as custom
packages in /var/local) with /usr/local also needing some space. Also, as an
oldworld machine, I'm aware that I'll need a small amount of space (about
100 Mb) for a MacOS and BootX partition, but *not* the recommended 10 Mb
partition for a bootloader.
Below are some recommendations I've received from others off this list:

4 Gb: 100 Mb for MacOS, 128 Mb for swap, rest for /
1 Gb: all used for /home

4 Gb: 100 Mb for MacOS, 128 Mb for swap, rest for /
1 Gb: all used for /var

4 Gb: 100 Mb for MacOS, 128 Mb for swap, rest for /
1 Gb: all used for /home2, primarily for expansion/spare space

4 Gb: 100 Mb for MacOS, 128 Mb for swap, 1 Gb for /home, rest for /
1 Gb: all used as 1 Gb mirror of /home (via raid or cron job)

What do people on this list recommend? What's the ideal partitioning
for a server like this (Internet/Intranet Server package, without X or
GUI)? Please e-mail me soon, as I'm eager to get YDL running on this
machine. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Matt
