I can't install YDL2.2 on a Performa 6400

BootX should work all the way back to OS 7.5, but having OS 9 would
probably be a good thing to have.

Secondly, Apple's Drive Setup sucks.  Try to find a copy of pdisk (try
www.mklinux.org).  pdisk is the best utility for partitioning drives.

Also, are you trying a full install, a custom install, or one of the
pre-set options?  A full or custom install will probably give more
problems than one of the pre-set options.

You may also want to up the RAM to max it out.  It helps especially
with KDE (it's a black hole for memory).
