Ethernet Card problems

I'm having problems with my ethernet card. I ran
dmesg and I don't see it. I have two cards. The 
built in one has been deteced fine. This other
card has not. I'm trying to do IP masquerading.
(I'm currently doing it on OS 9, but I would like
to set up my box to do it on Linux.)

I found out the card to be a Sonic Systems Inc
ethernet card. Does anyone know how to configure
these types of cards? Any help would be appreciated.
