Liquid translucency?

Does everyone else using Liquid see the effects seen here: =20

compiled and installed it, and set my control center look & feel options =
as=20
instructed, but only the window borders have the liquid appearance. Neith=
er=20
the menus nor the panel look anything like the snapshot. Is there somethi=
ng=20
you need to configure correctly in X for this to work?
