Compiling Xine?

How's the DVD playback on Ogle? I'm using Xine myself, and it works, but 
drops a bit too many frames, even though I tried every conceivable 
hack/optimization if run across. Always worked flawlesssly in Mac OS 9. 
Perhaps I'll give Ogle a try....
