Are you sure about that? What does 'rpm -qi yup' say?
Most likely it's not in your path. Yup lives in /usr/sbin which means
that it's not in your default pathas a normal user. You must be root to
use yup, so either:
- login from the console as root (then yup will be in your path)
- when you su do a 'su -' to obtaon a login environment which will include
/sbin and /usr/sbin in your path
- use '/usr/sbin/yup'
If you really don't have yup, mount your cd and install it with rpm -i
(or kpackage, or gnorpm), you will need python as well if that's not
installed either.
