I should mention that both and / or either of these methods will require 
about 2x the final installed disk space, a good portion of it living in 
/var.  Make sure that /var has plenty of sapce (600+ MB's *availible 
shoule do).  Someitmes /var doesn;t get it's own partition and thus is 
part of the / mount.  'df -h' will tell you how much space is left on each 
of your mounted partitions in rough megabytes.
