How to get Pan??

Wow, this gets into a lot of things I know nothing about --
I don't use YDL, Evolution, Pine, OE, or Win98.  You should ask
the Evolution people about making it play nice with Pine.

Likewise if the Ximian installer isn't working for you
(I assume that's what you're talking about, rather than
Evolution, when you mentioned YDL 2.2 + Evo), that's
also something to take up with Ximian.
