ppp/local networking

Hi Russel!

Concerning the ppp issue, take a look at the file /etc/ppp/resolv.conf and
check that the right DNS-servers are listed there. It might also be useful
to check if kppp is using this file, ppp surely does (I don't use kppp
myself).
