Radeon 7500

After doing some more web searching, I found a message from Dan Burcaw
who mentioned a different combination: video=radeon:dfp.  That
combination fixed my blank screen during boot but I am still having
trouble with blank screens when leaving X or when switching to a VT from
X (the same was happening when I used video=ofonly).  I also found some
interesting info in my dmesg output during boot (when using
video=radeon:dfp):

fb0: Open Firmware frame buffer device on
/pci@f0000000/ATY,BlueStoneParent@10/ATY,BlueStone_A
no framebuffer address found for
/pci@f0000000/ATY,BlueStoneParent@10/ATY,BlueStone_B

It sure doesn't sound like the video=radeon:dfp option worked at all.
Am I doing something wrong here?
