Perl-PDL Port?

Any other YDL / Perl users in the world?...

I couldn't even spell pearl a month ago,
now I are a progammer. ;-)

I tried dl/installing PDL and a couple other modules from CPAN.
One worked, but the others had numerous build failures.

Would the problematic modules need to be ported in order to work under YDL,
or am I doing something wrong?
