MD5Sum mismatch in gtkhtml-devel

On installing Mac OS x 10.2, I decided to re-partition the whole disk
and so had to re-install YDL 2.3.
I installed 2.2 from CD.
I installed apt-get according to the "How-to".
In console under root, after editing sources.list, I ran apt-get dist-upgrade
This went fine until it stopped with the error:-

Failed to fetch
http://open.mcgill.ca/ydl/apt/2.3/RPMS.main/gtkhtml-devel-1.0.3-1a.ppc.rpm
   MD5Sum mismatch
E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe try with --fix-missing?

I reported the same error on 7/14/02, when I first installed 2.3, but
this produced no response. Here are my questions:-

1.Has anyone else found this problem?
2.If so, why has there been no discussion here and no correction
after 2 months?
3.If not, can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?
4.Is there an alternative source of the file in error?

Note that I got similar results with yellowdog and other mirrors. At
both times I did eventually get a working system with KDE 3 and only
gtkhtml-devel missing, by a tedious and non-reproducible series of
manual calls of apt-get, ydl, rpm with dependency override etc.
