I have a rev 2.2 iBook 800.

I had battery problems.  More than just short life, my battery got to a poi=
nt
where it would not charge at all.  I ended up getting a new battery from the
local apple dealer and everything seemed to be fine.  I rarely boot Mac OS X
and, coincidently, it was right after I did (into 10.2.4, probably for the =
first
time) that the battery problems started.  After getting the new battery, I =
just
avoided Mac OS X until it gets sorted out.  I'd don't really use Mac OS X f=
or
anything so it wasn't a big deal.

I saw a post in one of the apple discussion forums that claimed 10.2.5 will
have some sort of battery fixes.  We'll see.
