Optimize kernel for Xserve

I downloaded the ben10 sources already.

I prefer modules. I only was interested in the other solution. I don't
know how the ethX-device will be associated to eth0/eth1 when
compiling as build-in and how I can change this. With modules.conf
it's no problem at all ;)
