c500+newer g3 upgrade+YDL

I have a c500 with a newertech g3-l2 300mhz upgrade
card and YDL 2.3 installed. The thing is, when i check
/proc/cpuinfo I don't get 300mhz listed, only the cpu
speed of the original processor (i've tried with the
180 and 240 603e processors) Also, it seams to hang up
occasionally with the g3 card. I set the Newer
extentsion's type to scri to let it boot up first. I'm
using the newst version of that extension (2.0.5)
