trying to install YDL on powermac 7220/200 (mac-os 8.1)

I eventually got it working by installing the latest stuffit, even though
it said it wouldn't work on macos 8.1.  (It does seem to work.)  Needless to say,
I'm happy to be back in a friendly unix environ :)
