There are no steps you can take to do that.  As far as I know, it's 
impossible.

Samuel Rydh has occasionally mentioned that he is interested in (or has 
already started) adapting Mac-on-Linux (MOL) to do the reverse, run 
Linux on MacOS X.  If/when LOM happens, it will probably offer the 
ability to run Linux from a MacOS X disk image.
