12/2 G5 install disks -- kernel panic on boot

Trying to boot off of the 12/2 G5 experimental disks...downloaded from
ydl.net, burned to CD...

My system is a G5, DP-2Ghz, 1 gig of factory installed RAM, 23" cinema
display

The same thing happens whether I try install, install text, or install-safe,
which makes me think that it's almost certainly a problem with the kernel
itself. Could be a problem with my RAM, I guess, but I have had no
stability problems whatsoever when booted into X, so it seems unlikely.

Anyway, any advice/help would be greatly appreciated....

This is what happens...boot messages transcribed from the beginning:
