Kernel 2.6 on YDL (was: HOWTO Run JBuilder X on linux/ppc)

Hello Jeroen,

A little off your topic: I noticed on your screenshot that you are 
running kernel 2.6.0-test11 on your system.

I intended to install it on my system as well. But after reading the 
included Changes file, I concluded that YDL 3.0 doesn't meet several 
dependencies (like procps and other packages being way too old).

Could you summarize what you had to do in order to succesfully build 2.6 
on your system ?
