Never underestimate the power of regular backups!!!

Make sure you are backing up the drive on a schedule that seems reasonable for 
your database usage. Find a SCSI drive (or two) (or three) to keep on hand. 
Then when the drive dies (and it will eventually die), all you have to do is 
restore to the new drive. (And you can sleep easier)
