OpenOffice Impress

I'm having a problem with Impress which I'm finding nothing about on the OOo lists or website, so I'm wondering if it might be specific to the YDL 2.3 version of OOo.

I have a presentantion that was created with Impress, which was tested and working correctly. After a couple of normal shutdowns and reboots due to traveling, there is one slide that causes OOo to instantly crash on any display attempt; editing, slide show, or slides view. I cannot delete it, because it must be displayed before it can be deleted. OOo reports an IO error if I try to save the file. The slide in question was created from the "Title and Spreadsheet" template. The spreadsheet remains unchanged from when the presentation was working.

Has anyone here seen any similar problems?
