YDL 2.3...no "USB"

Hi All,

On my "iBook 500 G3"...(Dual USB)
I am still not having much luck with getting a "Zip 100 USB" drive 
running under
YellowDog Linux 2.3. ( worked ok
with Mandrake 8.2 though). The problem is that I cannot mount the device
(says device is not a valid block device ...). Also complains about no
"block-major-2" module ....

My "USB" Printer (Too) dosent work at "ALL" !!!

Any idea ???
