YDL 2.3 USB storage issue

OK Paolo. I don't understand what is going on in your
case. Apparently, there is a usb to serial converter
detected when you plug in your Zip drive. Maybe this
is a feature of the Zip usb drive, I don't know, I
don't jhave one. Please try the list
linux-usb-users@lists.sourceforge.net .

As for the printer, run printtool to configure it.
Look up the instructions in the link I sent you
before.
