iBook Installation Failure

I noticed something on the boot up messages:

At one point is it trying to enable the IDE bus.  It states something like:

"ide - assumine 33mhz bus PIO ...    override with idebus=xx"

Then, it hard to say since the screen flashes so quickly, it seems that it
fails on that load.

This makes sense to me since it cannot find the hard drive.

What to do with this information - I'm at a loss.  Help anyone?

Try install w/safe, novideo option. I've got the same machine and this
worked for me.:)
