Well, to complete the install setup at the end, I think you have to go
through the netwoking settings. Once installed and you start to build a new
kernel, you=B9ll want to include the =B33com cards=B2 in the kernel (under
=B3Network Device Support=B2) and then it will give you a submenu of specific
cards(models). If you need a refresher on building the kernel, as I often
do, here is the how-to from yellowdog=B9s site:

http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/support/solutions/ydl_general/kernels.shtml

I concur with David Tisdell=B9s comments regarding hardware support. Lot=B9s of
known hardware that is supported by YDL specifically and Linux in general
are not always complied into the install kernels, even from YDL 2.1 to 2.3
there is difference in what they included. Example, I have an 8500 with a
Tempo ATA 100 card, install kernel for 2.1 worked fine, 2.3 lacked the
support. So I had to use the install kernel from 2.1 to install then
recompile a new kernel with the correct hardware support. It=B9s incredibly
frustrating and I wrote YD regarding that issue a couple months ago.

Hope this helps!
