The Jackhammer is realy know as some qlogicisp card and the linux driver 
seems to work under Intel linux. Sadly for us, that driver is nog 
Endian-clean and will hang your system if you try to load the driver under 
some PPC linux ...

If a programme could redo the driver and submit some patch, some of us 
would be happy...

In the mean time, put some supported scsi-card (adaptec or so) in the 
machine and all works fine....

(at least it does here)
