efax - receiving works, sending not???

Hi everybody,

Has anyone here had luck in getting efax to work?

I have a Performa 5200 running YDL 2.2 and have no problems receiving 
faxes with my modem (USR 56k Fax Modem), but trying to send faxes 
always results in some sort of an error/core dump. Has anyone 
successfully sent faxes with efax on a PPC? If yes, which 
version/kernel/configs?

For what I need it, efax would suffice, but just for the sake of 
knowing, are there any ppc.rpms for hylafax somewhere?
