Problems with samba

Hi you all,

I tried to use the following hardware as a Samba server but I fiind that
the process falls after a certain number of hour. Tha same does not happen
on a IBM Pentium server.

The result is that I have to "/etc/init.d/smb start" sometimes during the
day.

Someone knows something about it?

This is my environment:

Apple G3 (Beige) with Yellowdog 2.3 installed.

apache 1.3.22--3b (even devel and conf), but I tried more recent releases
