Difference between apt from yellowdoglinux and ayo.freshrpms.net

Does anyone know what the difference between the latest apt from
"ftp.yellowdoglinux.com" (version 0.5.cnc5-3c) and from
"ayo.freshrpms.net" (version 0.5.cnc6-fr1)

I'm not afraid of looking at (and diff-ing) the source code ("Use the
Source, Luke!"), if somebody can give me some guidance on how to get the
respective sources downloaded into a nice safe place...
