Specs: Apple Studio Display 17 LCD (ADC)

Does anyone have the modeline and such specs as are
necessary to correctly configure graphics mode XFree86 to
operate a Apple Studio Display 17 LCD (ADC) on either
ATI Radeon 7000 Mac Edition or
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro All-In-Wonder?
It works in console text mode, but the Apple Knowledge Base
contains no tech info in support of configuring this display.
The Anaconda installer for YDL allows selection of this model,
but Anaconda installer for RedHat does not. In either case,
after install, there's no way to configure the Display.
