Wireless problem with YDL 3.0

I have installed 3.0 on a G4 TI Powerbook 800mhz. I cannot get the wireless to work on my built in Airport card. I get an error that states I am using version 14 of the Wireless Extension but my eth1 dev is using version 12. I do not know what the Wireless extension is in reference to because I cannot find a module or rpm that is named Wireless Extension. Can someone please shed a little light on this problem for me.
