Quadruple boot YDL, Gentoo PPC, Mac OS X, Mac OS 9???

dear all,
i'm FINALLY getting my 15" powerbook which i have been lusting over for
months... as an avid redhat fan, having been dual booting with win xp,
YDL is the obvious choice.

the triple boot of ydl, os x and 9 is straightforward enough... i can
see how that will work with no problems at all. the documentation is
excellent and i have done it for friends already.

i'm intrigued with gentoo though. probably won't use it all the time,
but i am VERY curious to see how much faster it supposedly is (as
compared to YDL) given all this talk regarding optimised compilation etc
etc.

has anyone tried the quadruple boot schema i have suggested? i think
that i would probably install, in the following order:

9
X
YDL
gentoo.

using the os x disk partitioning tool.

any problems i might encounter with yaboot? or anything i haven't
thought through?

look forward to hearing from you all.

regards,

andrew.
