I experienced problems with to much RAM once upon a time. I received errors
when recompiling the kernel with 4 x 64 MB added. When only 2 x 64 added it
worked (did not try the other slots).

Same experience on installing YDL 3.0 with 4 RAM bars. The installer
suddenly shutdown the machine. With only 2 all ran fine.

May reducing RAM prior to run the install may solve it, really maybe!
