3.1 soon?

Is there going to be a 3.1 release soon?  I'm not the type to be constantly upgrading stuff - I like to install something that works and then use it as long as possible.  I've been thinking of switching to YDL for full-time use, but the latest YDL I have is 2.3.  I'm thinking I should buy a copy of 3.x, but if 3.1 is right around the corner, I would wait just a bit for it.
