You might be able to do what you're asking, but I would stronly advise 
against it.  You're asking for a world of oddness and are deeply venturing 
into the land of unsupported by anyone.  For a production server this is 
probably not where you want to be.

YDL runs fine on most recent PowerPC's, including the 8600, 9600, g3 and
g4.  If you have a older mac around (or can buy another g4, or one of
TerraSoft's inexpensive BoxerATA machines) , I'd suggest putting YDL on it
and leaving the current g4 as an OSX only machine.  In the end, you'll be
much happier and have a maore robust and dependable setup.
