YDL and Mac OS X

We have a G4 server and want to install
YDL and OS X. It has two drives.
If we want to use Mac-on-Linux, do we have
to install everything on the same drive?
Or can we use YD on one drive, and OS X
on the other?
We will be using the G4 as an internet server.
There is software we need the OS X for to run, 
4D Business Kit, which has it's own server built in.
We also need the Linux OS for other applications
we need to run.
