Is there any way to make the error message more explicit?

PS -- Just to be perfectly clear, I don't mean that as in "explicit
language" --

For example "Take your @#$%^& login and shove it up your *&&%$"

Though sometimes I've wished I could have my servers say that (for
particular users only!)
