Replacing my hard disk in my Mac G4

I have been trying to put a different hard disk into my Mac G4, 
but I keep getting the following error when I try to partition the
drive.  I have tried putting it in other machines and wiping the
old partitions and the MBR to no avail.  Any ideas?
