YDL [not OSX] with linksys wireless router?? [long rant -- sorry!]

	This appears to be a reply to something I either didn't see, or 
skimmed right past, perhaps because it seems to be all about cable and 
is purest Greek to me. Fwiw, I'm trying to connect to Verizon DSL.
