[Beartooth]

	On a scrap of paper I find a note (source disremembered -- Old 
Absent-Minded didn't get to it soon enough, alas!) saying 'make 
pppconfig use "default-asyncmap"' -- and "whereis pppconfig" from a root 
prompt gets me nothing ...

	I *think* this has to do with connecting 2.3 to DSL through the 
router ...
